In this role, you will oversee production activities, optimize machine parameters, drive process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance productivity, yield, and safety performance.\nWhat you will get:\nThe opportunity to play a critical role in maximizing productivity, quality, and equipment performance across capsule manufacturing processes.\n\nA hands-on position where you influence end-to-end production flow, process improvements, and operator capability development.\n\nCollaboration with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to drive lean transformation and operational excellence.\n\nOwnership of continuous improvement initiatives such as yield improvement, waste reduction, and standardized work practices.\n\nA work environment committed to safety, GMP compliance, people development, and innovation in manufacturing processes.\n\nWhat you will do:\nEnsure all machine processing parameters and measuring points are always aligned with defined specifications and escalate deviations promptly.\n\nDefine and maintain “golden parameters” for key equipment such as HCM, I-Box, and Borsor systems across repetitive changeovers.\n\nCoordinate with shift leaders to ensure smooth production flow and adherence to SOPs.\n\nVerify and monitor GMS (Gauge Measurement System) quality checks, ensuring timely completion and compliance with specifications.\n\nEnsure machine conditions consistently meet operational standards.\n\nLead process and people transformation using lean and Six Sigma methodologies, including SMED for faster changeovers.\n\nMaintain in-process quality controls and follow up on system compliance at all times.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nDiploma in Mechanical Engineering (required).\n\nMore than 3 years of experience in production operations, preferably in capsule manufacturing or similar continuous-process environments.\n\nStrong understanding of machine parameters, process conditions, and equipment performance optimization.\n\nHands-on experience with HCM, I-Box, Borsor, or similar production machinery.\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to rapidly resolve process issues.\n\nExperience with lean tools such as SMED, Six Sigma, or autonomous maintenance methods.\n\nStrong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.\n\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
