SAP Program Manager - Retail & FMCG

This is a remote position.On behalf of our Client, a global consulting company which is expanding its SAP unit in Poland, we are looking for a Program Manager for the Retail & Consumer Products industry, who will shape and lead the definition and adoption of the integrated business transformation delivery methodology for S/4HANA-based digital transformations of retail, wholesale and consumer products (CPG) companies, from discovery and business case through delivery to stabilisation, based on SAP Activate. In the role of a Program Manager, you will:

• Shaping transformations upfront: discovery, business and investment cases, transformation and architecture options (Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield);
• Leading pre-sales for retail and consumer products clients: responses to RFPs / RFIs, proposals and program financials;
• Shaping the delivery approach and framework for S/4HANA transformations in retail, from proposal through program preparation;
• Leading mid-size or co-leading large S/4HANA programs, including multi-country, multi-banner roll-outs and ECC / IS-Retail to S/4HANA migrations;
• Taking overall accountability for delivery: planning, cost, timelines, quality, risks and change control;
• Setting up and running program governance and the Program Office, and reporting to Program Boards and Steering Committees;
• Guiding end-to-end process teams with a focus on Merchandise Management, Procure-to-Stock, Store and Omnichannel processes, and protecting store and e-commerce operations at cutover and go-live (incl. planning around peak trading seasons);
• Managing senior client stakeholders, including C-level, and internal, third-party and contract resources across onsite, nearshore and offshore teams, incl. System Integrators and partner commercials;

Requirements

• Superior client and stakeholder skills: trusted relationships with client leadership, influence at C-level, comfort with complex organizations and ambiguity;
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and vendor management skills;
• Proven ability to deliver to time, cost and quality under tight deadlines and challenging constraints;
• Extensive (10+ years) client-facing consulting experience, with program leadership in large-scale SAP transformations;
• Track record across multiple full lifecycle SAP programs, including multi-country roll-outs for ECC / IS-Retail and S/4HANA, ideally in Retail or Consumer Products (e.g. grocery, fashion, consumer electronics, DIY, wholesale / distribution, CPG) - industry experience is an advantage, not a must;
• Strong experience in at least two process areas: Merchandise Management (assortment, pricing and promotions, allocation and replenishment), Procure-to-Stock / Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report; Merchandise Management is a strong advantage;
• Understanding of the retail solution landscape: POS integration (e.g. SAP Customer Activity Repository), omnichannel and e-commerce (e.g. SAP Commerce Cloud), store operations and warehouse / distribution centre processes (e.g. EWM) is an advantage;
• Experience leading multi-vendor teams in onsite, nearshore and offshore delivery models;
• Knowledge of Greenfield, Brownfield and Bluefield transformation approaches;
• Practical knowledge of SAP Activate (incl. Model Company, SAP Value Lifecycle Management) and of Agile, value-driven delivery;
• Ability to prepare large proposals, articulate value-based propositions and own program financials;
• Experience in mentoring and coaching consultants;
• Excellent English and Polish;
• Willingness to travel in Europe.
