To accommodate the time zone differences, you will be expected to work from 11 am - 7:30 pm IST.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nLeading and rapidly building end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s platform.\n\nGoing beyond writing Python or Java: designing and shipping reusable frameworks and shared libraries that raise the bar for how every team at Loopio builds, so good patterns scale instead of being reinvented.\n\nProactively build technology to prevent bugs as they come up, because you can’t stand crappy software.\n\nInteract with and gather detailed feedback from our customers because you understand that creating a user-centric experience comes first.\n\nPartner closely with the ML team to design, integrate, and productionise AI agents and knowledge-graph capabilities, turning research prototypes into reliable, well-evaluated features.\n\nMentor and coach others, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing and encouraging feedback.\n\nContributing to Loopio’s AI roadmap by evaluating third-party models, establishing patterns for agentic workflows and knowledge-graph-grounded retrieval, and defining technical and evaluation guidelines for AI-powered features.\n\nIdentifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects through testing and by developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high-quality and consistent releases.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team\n6+ years of professional software development experience\n\nProven track record of designing and delivering complex software systems at scale.\n\nStrong experience in backend/API development in Python, Java or PHP.\n\nStrong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL or similar.\n\nProficient in using and designing scalable RESTful APIs.\n\nMentorship to other engineers through coaching, design, and code reviews.\n\nExposure to AI technologies, particularly around Agents and LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, etc.), embeddings, or natural language processing.
