Maintaining unit uptime to customer expectations is critical to customer satisfaction, railroad fuel economy, and railroad’s wheel/rail life.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nFunctional/Technical Skills\nService top of rail and gauge face lubricator units to specified guidelines.\nPerform lubrication service program for railroad customers.\nUses logic and methods to solve problems to find effective solutions.\nUnderstand and adhere to general railroad and Loram operating rules.\nManaging and Measuring Work\nManage inventory held on maintenance vehicle through company processes.\nPlans work based on length and task difficulty, develops schedules, and anticipates and adjusts for problems to meet objectives.\nAble to work independently.\nWritten Communication\nProcess work orders and complete all necessary delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns through approved company processes.\nProactive problem resolution\nCustomer Focus\nBuild customer and supplier relations for improved products and services.\nWork with Sales Department to ensure customer expectations are met.\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:\n1. Work Standards\n REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience: High School Diploma/ Equivalent\nLicenses/Certifications: Maintain railroad safety training and certifications\n Ability to obtain a CDL.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical\nExperience: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role\n2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills\nPREEMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:\nThis position requires successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination and role-specific assessments. Components may include DOT Physical Exam, Regulated (DOT) DS/BAT, Human Performance Evaluation (HPE), and Audiogram. \nPosition requires successful completion of an eVerifile/eRailSafe background check as required by Loram’s railroad customers. Ongoing eligibility is subject to compliance with eRailSafe standards . \nMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
