You’ll play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of preparation, presentation and service, ensuring every dish reflects the quality and creativity of the restaurant.\nThis is an opportunity to develop your skills within a talented culinary team, contribute to a new and exciting dining destination, and help establish the standards and culture that will define Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers from day one.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nTake responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your designated kitchen section, ensuring efficient preparation and smooth service.\nPrepare, cook and present dishes to consistently high standards, following recipes, specifications and presentation guidelines.\nWork closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs and fellow Chef de Parties to ensure seamless communication and coordination across the kitchen.\nMaintain excellent standards of food quality, consistency and attention to detail throughout every service.\nEnsure your section is organised, clean and fully prepared for service, completing mise en place to the required standard.\nSupport the development and training of Commis Chefs and junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practice.\nMaintain effective stock control, ensuring correct storage, rotation and ordering while minimising waste.\nChampion seasonal ingredients and the quality of British produce, contributing to the delivery of an exceptional dining experience.\nFollow all food safety, health & safety and hygiene procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards at all times.\nContribute to the pre-opening and launch of Gordon Ramsay at Sea Containers, helping establish strong working practices and a positive kitchen culture.\nSalary: Competitive + benefits\nAt Sea Containers London we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
