With 354 bedrooms, award-winning food and drink outlets and an electric energy, Sea Containers London is a destination where glamour meets brutalism - and it's your London anchor on the River Thames.\nAs Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your section and supporting the delivery of food across multiple outlets and services, including:\nConferences, banquets, weddings, and private events\nIn-room dining\nStaff Restaurant - 'The Crew's Nest'\nWorking alongside a talented kitchen brigade, the Chef de Partie ensures every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standards while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and excellent food safety practices.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPreparing and delivering high-quality food for events, room service, and the staff canteen.\nTaking ownership of your section during preparation and service.\nSupporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.\nEnsuring all food is prepared in line with recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.\nMaintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and health & safety.\nAssisting with stock control, food rotation, and minimising waste.\nSupporting junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture.\nWhat We're Looking For\nPrevious experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel, banqueting, events, or high-volume kitchen environment.\nA passion for quality food and hospitality.\nExcellent organisational and time-management skills.\nThe ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.\nA proactive and positive approach to teamwork.\nA good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.\nSalary: £36,692 p/a + service charge, plus benefits\nAt Sea Containers London we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
