Our preferred candidate would have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market.\nOur ideal candidate thrives in a non-stop environment, has an open mind and a great sense of humor, and loves finding solutions, working with a team and proactively creating positive outcomes.\nThe ability to be adaptable, calm under pressure, resourceful and efficient is in your DNA.\nCore Essential Functions\nMaintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas of the Hotel.\nClean lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms and other assigned public spaces.\nVacuum, sweep, mop, dust and polish assigned areas.\nRemove trash and replenish supplies as needed.\nReport maintenance concerns, damage or lost items to the appropriate supervisor.\nRespond to guest and departmental cleaning requests as needed.\nCollaborate and communicate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.\nComply with all company policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned by Housekeeping leadership.\nThis position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities\nHotel Experience is not required - Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST.\nA minimum of 1-2 years hospitality or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.\nWillingness to learn.\nTeam player.\nExcellent communication skills.\nAble to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to lift up to 35 lbs. without assistance.\nFlexible schedule is required to meet the needs of the business.\nHourly Rate:\n$23 - $25\nBenefits\nAt Riggs Washington DC we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
