To transform our vision into reality we are working on the following 3 mindset pillars: DO THE RIGHT THING, DO IT RIGHT AND DO IT BETTER.\nOne of centers set up in Malaysia, we call it BEST in KL (BEST stands for Business Expertise, Services & Technologies), provides financial services to 20+ markets for L’Oréal North Asia Region & SAPMENA Region (South Asia Pacific, Middle East & North Africa).\nWhy join us?\nL'Oréal Malaysia has been recognized as a Top Employer 2024 & 2025 by the Top Employers Institute! - Check it out here!\nWhat will you do?\nCash Flow Forecasting - Trend/Budget and Actuals\nDevelop and maintain robust cash flow forecasts based on inputs from Country teams and integration of data from multiple sources, at required reporting frequencies.\nPartner closely with Country stakeholders to review forecasts and understand the business rationale behind key financial decisions.\nPrepare detailed monthly cash flow reports, including variance analysis against trends and approved budgets.\nEnsure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of monthly actual cash receipts, payments, and working capital data, performing necessary validations and adjustments.\nReview and consolidate monthly financial data, and prepare official reports and presentations for the Country CFO.\nSupport and execute control and analytical processes related to Systematic Risk Identification (SRI) and annual budgeting cycles.\nEnsure adherence to defined KPIs, particularly relating to the accuracy and timeliness of monthly reporting, SRI, and budget submissions.\nDeliver value-added financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by the CFO, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather meaningful business insights.\nConduct ad-hoc financial analyses to investigate deviations from forecasted cash receipts, payments, and working capital movements.\nWork closely with the Treasury Operations team by providing cash flow trend and budget inputs to support the preparation of the rolling cash flow forecast.\nFoster a strong collaborative culture with Operations and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and financial transparency.\nForeign Exchange (FX) Management & Analysis\nCollect, validate, and analyze FX data for monthly closing and forecasting processes. \nAnalyze FX impact for the month, prepare necessary accounting entries and ensure compliance and accuracy.\nManaging the overall hedging ratio and working with group on over/under hedging positions.\nProactively identify and mitigate FX fluctuations. \nSupport in developing and implementing hedging strategies.\nUnderstand the FX needs vis-vis cashflow forecasting to the extent synergies exist between the two.\nFurther develop knowledge of the sourcing patterns by closer engagement with the Controllers in the country to improve the quality of commentary on changing FX needs or in challenging the forecasts.\nCommunicate Month-end rate/Prebudget and Budget FX Rates to stakeholders.\nPublish and analyze FX G&L and FX forecast reports for Budget and Trend, drive FX process alignment, monitor the FX risks and FX portfolio of the entities and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to obtain business insight.\nOther Analytical Task\nForecasting and overseeing the financial income and expense P&L, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of all financial activities.\nPrepare regular reporting and analysis on treasury activities, including key performance indicators and risk metrics.\nStay informed about market trends and best practices in treasury management.
