You will develop robust data pipelines, modern data platforms, and cloud-native data architectures that power analytics, reporting, AI, and business decision-making across global business functions.\nIn this role, You will..\nBe responsible for the following:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data. \nBuild and manage modern cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses. \nEnsure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across data ecosystems. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions. \nOptimize data workflows and processing performance to improve scalability and cost efficiency. \nImplement data integration solutions from multiple enterprise systems, applications, and external sources. \nSupport analytics, BI, and AI/ML use cases by delivering reliable and accessible datasets. \nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to data pipelines and platforms. \nFollow DevOps and DataOps best practices including CI/CD, automation, testing, and monitoring. \nContribute to data architecture discussions and support the evolution of L'Oréal's global data strategy.\nWhat are we looking for?\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. \n 6-9 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer. \nStrong experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is mandatory. \nHands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and related GCP services. \nStrong expertise in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques. \nProficiency in Python and experience developing scalable data pipelines. \nExperience building ETL/ELT solutions using cloud-native and modern data engineering frameworks. \nStrong hands-on experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing technologies. \nExperience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer. \nKnowledge of data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures. \nExperience integrating data from enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and streaming platforms. \nStrong understanding of data quality, data governance, metadata management, and security best practices. \nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps/DataOps practices, and Agile methodologies. \nAbility to troubleshoot complex data processing and performance issues in cloud environments. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience working in global teams.\nWhat’s In It for You?\nWorking with cutting edge Technology, empowering employees with new age learning, global exposure, and opportunities to build future-ready careers.\nA flexible and modern workplace, enabling teams to perform at their best through a smart hybrid model that supports balance and autonomy.
