In 24 months, you are expected to be the internal technical authority for the travel.\nRetail Salesforce platform.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nAbsorb and Own the Platform: \nWork in daily pairing mode with the retained Accenture Tech Lead to gain a deep, end-to-end understanding of the Salesforce O+O platform architecture, data model, integrations, and technical debt landscape.\nIdentify architectural constraints coming in the next iterations and alert the team when problems are foreseen.\nProduce and maintain high-quality technical documentation to ensure platform knowledge is permanently internalized within L'Oréal.\nProgressively take ownership of architectural decisions and technical design reviews as knowledge transfer matures.\n\nDeliver and Enforce Engineering Quality: \nGuarantee the technical framing of user stories to be implemented and propose the right compromises between technical and functional aspects.\nLead the development of new features and enhancements on the Salesforce Lightning platform (Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs).\nSupport software craftsmanship practices: peer reviews, unit testing, static analysis, and CI/CD pipeline discipline.\nChampion API-first design principles and manage technical debt proactively in partnership with the product owner.\n\nMentor and Build the Team: \nGive technical and methodological guidance to developers through cross-learning and peer programming.\nSet the technical bar for the GCC engineering team; mentor SF Dev L2 and junior engineers.\nFoster a \"you build it, you run it\" engineering culture from day one.\nSupport the implementation of the technical vision of the product and update the technical backlog accordingly.\n\nContribute to Delivery Governance: \nParticipate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and technical workshops with the Paris-based platform team.\nUse ServiceNow as the single source of truth for demand and incident management.\nContribute to writing technical user stories, rules, and associated tests.\n\nRequirements: \nTechnical: Tech and data architecture design: Application lifecycle management, cloud services management, DevOps, integration, AI/ML.\nDelivery: Agile methodologies: Tech strategy design, prioritization, and risk management.\nLeadership: Team engagement: Adapted communication and change adoption strategy design.\n\nTechnical Competencies: \nExperience: 7-10 years in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead technical role.\nSalesforce Expertise: Deep, hands-on mastery of Salesforce Lightning (Apex, including design patterns, async processing, bulkification, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, LDV, REST/SOAP integrations, permission models, and deployment pipelines). Ability to challenge architectural designs and guide the team on best practices. Strong knowledge of Consumer Goods (CG) cloud desktop/mobile app development, offline data management, and synchronization.\nIntegrations: Experience with API gateway patterns (Apigee or equivalent), middleware, and enterprise integration.\nEngineering Practices: Solid knowledge of CI/CD, Git branching strategies, DevSecOps, and automated testing frameworks.\nCertifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I and II are required. Application Architect is a strong plus, as well as System Architect credentials, Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, and CG Cloud Accredited Professional.\n\nProfessional Competencies: \nTechnical Leadership in Waiting: You have the technical credibility to command the respect of senior engineers and the ambition to grow into a tech lead role within 24 months.\nKnowledge Transfer Mindset: You understand that your first mission is to absorb and document, not to reinvent.
