Come join our dynamic team!\nWhat You Will Do:\nA Project Engineering Manager is a key driver of continuous improvement within a production facility. They manage the implementation of projects (capital and expense) related to new works for the facility.\nProject Management:\nManage and oversee the implementation of new projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and timely completion. \nEffectively communicate project updates, risks, and resource requirements to stakeholders.\nFlexible to be present during various shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays, to support the 24/7 operation of the facility\nProblem Solving and Root Cause Analysis:\nEmploy structured problem-solving techniques to identify the underlying causes and develop effective corrective and preventative actions.\nTeam Building and Collaboration:\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and open communication within the manufacturing environment. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain to drive improvement initiatives.\nProject Planning & Scoping:\nDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables in line with L'Oréal's strategic goals. This includes identifying needs, developing business cases, and returnon investment.\nDevelop detailed project plans that outline timelines, resources, budget, and key performance indicators (KPIs).\nFinancial Management:\nDevelop detailed cost estimates and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and variances.\nConduct cost-benefit analyses and assess the financialviability of projects.\nDevelopment of capital budgets for a 3-yearplanrelated to new works.\nRisk Management:\nIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. This involves proactively addressing technical, financial, and scheduling risks.\nVendor and Contractor Management:\nManage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring adherence to contracts and performance standards.\nManage relationships with state and local authorities as needed.\nThis includes leading the bidding and selection process.\nExecution and Implementation:\nOversee the day-to-day execution of capital projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, permitting requirements, and safety regulations.\nManage project teams, delegate tasks, and provide direction.\nCommissioning and Handover:\nManage the project transition from implementation to operation, including commissioning, testing, and handover to operational teams.\nDevelop and deliver training programs for end-users.\nPerformance Monitoring and Reporting:\nTrack project progress against established KPIs and report on project status to stakeholders.\nConduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future project execution.\nParticipate in plant building audits (Insurance review, Fire Department evaluations) \nSafety and Compliance:\nEnsure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and L'Oréal's internal safety protocols.\nMaintain a strong safety culture within the project teams.\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.\n5 years minimum experience as a Project Engineer or equivalent in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated project background commensurate with job responsibilities (construction, piping, mechanical and electrical systems, safety and civil works).\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.\nStrong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\nAs an integral part of our culture at L’Oréal, wellness is central to our values.
