This role ensures inventory accuracy, process compliance, and product quality through the creation of sustainable mechanisms, proactive performance monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.\nThe ICQA Manager will build systems and routines that identify risks before they become operational issues, establish leading and lagging indicators, and drive rapid corrective actions to maintain world-class inventory accuracy and quality performance. This leader will develop and empower a high-performing team while partnering cross-functionally to continuously improve operational reliability, customer experience, and supply chain efficiency.\nSuccess in this role is measured not only by inventory and quality results, but by the ability to develop talent, build scalable processes, and create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nKey Job Accountabilities:\nInventory Accuracy & Control StrategyDevelop and execute the site's Inventory Control strategy to achieve and sustain best-in-class inventory accuracy and location integrity. \nDesign and implement proactive inventory management mechanisms that identify trends, risks, and process failures before they impact service, productivity, or financial performance. \nEstablish leading and lagging KPI frameworks to monitor inventory health across receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping processes. \nDrive systematic root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and implement sustainable corrective actions that eliminate recurring defects. \nLead cycle count, audit, and reconciliation programs while continuously improving inventory governance processes. \nOwn inventory accuracy metrics, adjustment controls, shrink reduction initiatives, and inventory-related financial compliance requirements.\n\nData Analytics & Performance ManagementBuild and maintain KPI dashboards and visual management systems that provide real-time visibility into inventory, quality, and operational performance. \nUtilize WMS, ERP, and business intelligence tools to identify patterns, forecast risks, and prioritize opportunities for improvement. \nCreate exception-based monitoring processes that trigger early-warning alerts and immediate action plans for inventory and quality issues. \nPresent business insights, performance trends, and recommendations for improvement to site and regional leadership teams. \nEstablish reporting routines that drive accountability and enable rapid decision-making.\n\nPeople Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop ICQA leaders and associates to achieve operational excellence and individual career growth.\nBuild a high-performance culture centered on safety, accountability, engagement, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. \nDevelop succession plans and talent pipelines for critical roles within Inventory Control and Quality Assurance. \nConduct regular talent reviews, development planning, and coaching sessions to strengthen leadership capabilities across the team. \nCreate a learning environment that develops analytical thinking, operational expertise, and leadership effectiveness. \nChampion employee engagement initiatives that improve retention, performance, and organizational capability.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Operational PartnershipPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Engineering, Transportation, and Corporate teams to drive end-to-end process improvements. \nLead cross-functional initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, quality performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction. \nApply Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve process capability. \nSupport system implementations, automation initiatives, and technology enhancements designed to improve inventory visibility and operational control. \nServe as the site subject matter expert for inventory governance, quality compliance, and control processes.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Science, or a related field.\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment, including at least 2-3 years in a people management or leadership capacity.\n Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)-specifically Manhattan solutions-and ERP systems (such as SAP).\n Data & Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, macros, etc.).\nCore Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to autonomously manage complex operational challenges.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Integrated Lean Six Sigma, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation in high-volume operations.\nFamiliarity with Power BI and automated distribution technologies.\nProven success in driving change management and developing talent in a fast-paced environment.\nAs an integral part of our culture at L’Oréal, wellness is central to our values.
