Let's create the beautythat moves the world!\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork closely with developers and the DevOps team to oversee deployments and code releases\nMaintain, own, and improve the build and deploy pipeline\nAdministration and automation of the AWS and GCP infrastructure and environments\nContinuously improve the tooling, applications and environments\nWork within an agile framework, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.\nWork directly with the application development team’s tech lead and/or product owner to prioritization of infrastructure and DevOps tasks to meet the team’s business roadmap\nUnderstand the requirement of new feature request from other teams from the Toronto Factory, the Lab, the Paris teams and cybersecurity stakeholders, providing feedback from the DevOps team’s perspective and work on the implementation\nDevelop and improve operational practices and procedures\nActively participate in code reviews, testing, and champion best software development practices.\nInvestigate and adopt new technologiesincluding use of AI and agents when appropriate\nProvide guidance to the junior team members\nFoster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement within the team.\nCommunicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to diverse audiences.\nAutomate (almost) everything!\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor's degree in Software Engineeringor related technical fields\n5+ years experienceas an DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer in a cloud development environment\n5+ years experiencein administering GCP or AWS\nVery good understanding of DevOps concepts, techniques, tools and culture\nExpert in UNIX/Linux operating system.\nExperience working with Infrastructure as Code to manage and provision infrastructure\nStrong understanding of Cloud Networking VPC/Subnets, Load balancers, WAF and DNS management across multiple environments\nExperience with secrets management and IAM least privilege design across multiple accounts/projects\nExperience working on CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GCP Cloud Build, etc.\nFamiliarity with Security and Compliance tooling such as Guardduty, AWS Config,Crowdstrike, Tanium etcis nice to have\nPrior experience working closely with or being embedded with development teams\nExperience with Software Development lifecycles tools such as github, SonarQubeand etc.\nExperience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, GCP monitoring or similar for high availability and performant production applications\nExperience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices\nImplement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.\nEnjoy collaborating, learning from your colleagues, and teaching others.\nScripting languages such as Bash or Python\nExperience working on AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code and etc.\nNote: This is a Hybrid positions, you will need to commute to our downtown office minimum 2 days per week with possibility of 3 days per week.\nCompensation\nAt ModiFace, we believe compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of both experience and impact. The total compensation for this role is $115,000- $120,000. Compensation is determinedbased on skills, experience, and the scope and complexity of the role.
