You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business needs.\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.\nDevelop scalable and efficient solutions for complex business problems.\nCollaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.\nImplement best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing.\nUtilize cloud services (AWS and Azure) to deploy and manage applications, leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Azure VMs, Blob Storage, Functions, and SQL Database.\nImplement real-time communication using WebSockets for bi-directional messaging in applications.\nEnsure high availability, scalability, and performance of backend systems.\nDevelops documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code to explain and show solutions.\nDetermines and designs system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.\nWork with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.\nManage and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.\nMonitor, analyze, and optimize backend performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.\nConfigure and manage server tools like Nginx, Apache HTTP Server, PM2, HAProxy, and Let's Encrypt for SSL termination, load balancing, and proxying.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field\n5+ years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.\nExtensive experience with cloud services (AWS and/or Azure) and their respective APIs.\nSolid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and the npm ecosystem.\nExperience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB).\nProficiency in using Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.\nExpertise in version control using Git and familiarity with branching strategies (GitFlow).\nHands-on experience with testing frameworks like Jest and API testing tools like Postman/Newman, Swagger UI.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.\nExperience in monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.\nFamiliarity with server tools including Nginx, Apache HTTP Server, PM2, HAProxy, and Let's Encrypt.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.\nEffective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nGood communication skills.\n\nCertifications Or Qualifications Is a Plus\n\nMasters degree in Computer Science or a related field.\nCertifications in AWS or Azure (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate).\nExperience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.\nContributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.\nComprehensive health benefits package (terms and conditions apply).\nFlexible working hours and remote work options.\nCompany-sponsored social events and team-building activities.\n\nAbout Lorgarithm\n\nLorgarithm LLC is a leading Human Resources company dedicated to improve the world through human and their professional career(s).
