business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\nPerform coding, debugging, unit testing, and production support activities.\nDevelop and maintain programs using:\nRPG III / RPG IV / RPGLE\nILE concepts and service programs\nCLLE / CL Programming\nSynon 2E generated applications\nPerform application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.\nWork with database objects, queries, and data processing on DB2 for iSeries.\nParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.\nTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.\nPrepare technical documentation and support migration/deployment activities.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\n6–12 years of experience in IBM AS400 / iSeries development.\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nSynon 2E (CA 2E)\nRPGLE (RPG IV)\nILE RPG\nCLLE / CL Programming\nStrong knowledge of:\nAS400 architecture and development environment\nDB2/400 database\nDDS concepts\nPhysical Files (PF), Logical Files (LF)\nEmbedded SQL in RPGLE\nJob scheduling and batch processing\nExperience in:\nDebugging AS400 applications\nProduction support\nApplication maintenance and enhancements\nChange management
