You clean and sanitize all china, glassware, and food storage receptacles. You restock plates and equipment in their respective “homes” to facilitate a fluid kitchen environment.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nBe on time and ready to work\nMaintain and clean all china, glass, and silverware\nPlace all cookware, china, glass, and silverware in proper storage spaces\nOrganization and cleanliness of the space and dish machine over the entire shift. This includes chemical levels, de-scale, and general cleaning\nRemove all linen and garbage, replace the bags, and clean trash cans inside and out\nTake out all compost bins, Soilutions, and beverage spill buckets at the end of every shift\nSweep and mop as needed during shift to maintain a safe, non-slip floor and during the close down of the stations\nBuff all China so it is ready for service\nClean all windows inside and out in the kitchen spaces\nAll sinks are washed out and dried as needed\nClean hoods, ovens, and stoves\nReport any problems with equipment to the direct supervisor\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of mop/broom closets\nMake time to help in other areas of the kitchen, i.e., dish pick-ups and restocks\nBreak down boxes for recycling and take any recycling out\nWork clean and maintain your space\nEssential Job Functions:\nWash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand\nMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition\nPlace clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas\nSort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pickup areas\nSweep or scrub floors\nRequirements\nThe ideal candidate must possess experience in a kitchen environment and a farm-to-fork background\nOrganized with an attention to detail, being self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment\nExhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the desire to be consistent\nAble to work in a high-stress environment\nMust be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, and walk 8 to 10 hours a day\nAble to grasp, lift, carry.
