Dive into hand-made artisan products at our production facility and retail locations or go behind the bar at our vibrant tasting rooms in downtown Albuquerque and Santa Fe.\nJob Summary:\nWorking as part of the Inn Front Desk team, you will be responsible for greeting all guests to the property in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nAct as an ambassador for the property, the Village of Los Ranchos, and Albuquerque\nEnsure guests are greeted upon arrival, quickly and appropriately fulfill guest requests, and approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner\nReceive and maintain Inn and Restaurant reservations, being aware of seasonal packages and policies \nAssist with general guest service tasks such as delivering items to guest rooms, assisting guests with check-ins, responding to guest requests, and addressing lost and found issues as required\nRegularly check guest rooms before guest arrival to deliver packages and ensure room meets standards for guest arrival\nAssist Inn guests with restaurant reservations, directions, taxis, etc\nGenerate reports, complete regular office work, and check guest rooms and property to ensure property standards are met\nMaintain a level of security on the property by ensuring appropriate lights are on, locking doors, and responding to emergencies\nAnswer telephones between scheduled hours, make room reservations, confirm details with future clients by email or phone, charge credit cards and settle bills for checkouts\nRespond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional and hospitable manner\nRespond to incoming guest communications, such as texts and emails, in a timely manner\nFollow up with guest requests to ensure the action(s) were completed\nEssential Job Functions:\nGreet customers, patrons, or visitors\nArrange services or reservations for patrons\nDeliver items\nStore luggage or other possessions for patrons\nProvide patrons with directions to locales or attractions\nMaintain financial or account records\nVerify the accuracy of financial or transactional data\nDiscuss account status or activity with customers or patrons\nCollect deposits, payments, or fees\nOperate communications equipment and computer systems\nReport maintenance or equipment problems to the appropriate personnel\nRequirements\n1 - 2 years experience in a hospitality and/or customer service role\nFriendly, goal-oriented, and outgoing with great people skills\nAble to read, comprehend, and write complex instructions and/or short correspondence and memos, having excellent verbal communication\nCompletion of High School Diploma\nAble to give and carry out direction in a high-activity and service-oriented environment \nKnowledge of Microsoft programs and intermediate computer skills\nMust be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, and walk 8 to 10 hours a day\nAble to grasp, lift, carry.
