Dive into hand-made artisan products at our production facility and retail locations or go behind the bar at our vibrant tasting rooms in downtown Albuquerque and Santa Fe.\nJob Summary:\nAs a Bartender/Server in a Tasting Room, you will be responsible for providing a memorable and educational tasting experience for guests, showcasing a variety of beverages, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties will include greeting guests, explaining the characteristics and history of the beverages, preparing and serving drinks, and making pairing recommendations. Additionally, you will handle transactions, maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tasting area, and manage inventory. Strong communication skills, a passion for beverages, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nAct as an ambassador and representative for the Los Poblanos property & cities of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Albuquerque & Santa Fe\nWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address guests’ service needs\nRespond rapidly to customer requests in a professional and hospitable manner\nLearn the tasting room menu so that it can be explained to our guests\nLearn the wholesale lavender line so that it can be explained and sold to our guests\nServe food and beverage orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner\nPrepare food & beverage\nBus & clean tasting room surfaces\nOperate as a team member of the retail shop and the tasting room\nPerform opening and closing procedures\nPerform other job-related duties as assigned\nEssential Job Functions:\nAssist customers with seating arrangements\nPresent food or beverage information or menus to customers\nTake orders\nPrepare beverages as needed\nAssemble food as needed\nServe food and beverages\nCommunicate with customers to resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction\nEnforce rules or regulations\nProcess customer bills or payments\nBus tables as needed\nClean food service areas as needed\nStock serving stations or dining areas with food or supplies\nAssist in the retail space as needed - ringing customers, wrapping orders, etc.\nAssist with wholesale lavender as needed\nRequirements\nA minimum of (1) year of experience working in a restaurant or bar\nCompletion of Serve Safe\nValid Alcohol Server’s Permit\nMust display a professional appearance and shared fate attitude\nExcellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills required\nAble to work under pressure and remain calm to resolve problems using good judgment\nAble to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team\nProblem-solving skills and deductive reasoning abilities\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\nMust be able to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, and walk 8 to 10 hours a day\nAble to grasp, lift, carry.
