LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nThe Construction Manager plays a key role within the Construction Management team, working closely with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to address complex coordination issues and lead on-site quality control efforts across large, high-tech facility projects. This role is based full-time at the project site and is responsible for managing assigned scopes of work from installation through to system startup and commissioning. The successful candidate will bring strong construction management experience, a collaborative approach, and a proven ability to deliver in complex, mission-critical environments.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee subcontractor and vendor installation work on a daily basis, ensuring adherence to installation schedules and supporting system startup and commissioning activities.\nAct as the interface between Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors, coordinating system startups across disciplines.\nVerify that all documentation is complete and that equipment being prepared for startup is construction-complete and can be safely energized or started.\nCoordinate assigned systems with civil, architectural, and structural elements within the overall project design.\nOrganize and facilitate training of client personnel in the operations and maintenance of installed systems.\nRun startup meetings involving Area Construction Managers, design team members, subcontractors, local utility agencies, and owners to coordinate and drive system startup activities.\nReview and process project submittal information, coordinating between multiple submittals to ensure accuracy and functionality across all systems.\nReceive and distribute requests for information (RFIs) and change in scope documents issued by project team members.\nAct as the technical advisor at the onsite field construction office, supporting the broader project team with expertise and guidance.\nWill need to assist in scope demarks thru page turns and BIM fly throughs.\nAssist in estimating construction budgets and managing project team staffing for assigned scopes.\nSupport the procurement of subcontractors and equipment, and assist in managing subcontractor contracts and contract modifications.\nAny other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.\nSkills Required:\nMinimum 6+ years’ construction management experience, with specific experience on industrial and/or high-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects required.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors across complex construction scopes.\nExperience working in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and project management software including Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.\nExperience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.\nStrong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, design specifications, and technical documentation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse project teams.\nHighly developed visual observation and interpretation skills, with a strong eye for quality and installation accuracy.\nExcellent time management and multitasking abilities, with a structured approach to managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work closely with trade and craft personnel, maintaining patience and professionalism in high-pressure situations.\nStrong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and at all levels of leadership.\nMust hold a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle between project sites.\nFlexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work extended hours or off-shift to accommodate changing construction sequences.\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications\nBachelor’s degree Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.\nLEED Accredited Professional status is preferred, or the ability to become accredited within 18 months of appointment.\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable\nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance \nLife, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance \nTraining and Education Assistance \n401k Retirement Plan \nExtra Annual Leave with Years of Service \nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nRecognition Rewards\nLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
