LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nThe CSA Construction Superintendent is responsible for coordinating field execution across civil, structural, and architectural scopes while working closely with project engineers, construction managers, building superintendents, and field teams. This role provides day-to-day oversight of subcontractor activities, schedule execution, quality, safety, and field coordination to support successful project delivery.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee and coordinate field construction activities across civil, structural, and architectural scopes, collaborating closely with project engineers, construction managers, building superintendents, and other field superintendents.\nDirect the daily work of multiple subcontractors and ensure compliance with approved design documents, project specifications, and schedules.\nDrive execution of short-interval plans and look-ahead schedules, ensuring field activities remain aligned with the overall master schedule.\nMonitor field productivity, identify constraints, and implement corrective measures to maintain project momentum.\nParticipate in daily supervisor coordination meetings, trade walks, and safety briefings.\nEnsure strict adherence to project-specific safety protocols and participate in safety audits and incident investigations.\nMonitor field installations for quality, adherence to design requirements, and compliance with applicable building codes and project specifications.\nCollaborate with QA/QC teams to coordinate inspections, punch lists, and system turnover milestones.\nMaintain detailed daily field reports, progress photographs, and as-built documentation.\nCommunicate construction progress, field constraints, and labor status to the Building Superintendent.\nReview and provide field-related feedback on RFIs, submittals, cost estimates, and construction documentation.\nIdentify and provide resolution to design and constructability issues encountered during field execution.\nRespond to client requests and project issues, utilizing technical expertise to develop effective resolutions.\nInterpret and ensure proper installations in compliance with local authority permitting requirements, applicable codes, and site specifications.\nFacilitate contractor activities and monitor performance against contractual requirements.\nProvide clear and effective communication verbally, in writing, and through electronic project communication systems.\nCollaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.\nAny other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.\nSkills Required:\nStrong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction practices and field execution.\nExperience coordinating multiple subcontractors and construction work packages in complex project environments.\nStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and as-built documentation.\nAbility to interpret and implement construction requirements in accordance with applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and project specifications.\nExperience with short-interval planning, look-ahead scheduling, field productivity tracking, and constraint management.\nKnowledge of construction QA/QC processes, inspections, punch lists, and turnover requirements.\nStrong understanding of construction safety requirements and field safety practices.\nAbility to identify and resolve constructability, design, and field coordination issues.\nStrong contractor and stakeholder management capabilities.\nExcellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, construction management teams, and subcontractors.\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications:\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.\nOSHA 30 certification preferred.\nConstruction or project management certification preferred.\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.\nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance \nLife, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance \nTraining and Education Assistance \n401k Retirement Plan \nExtra Annual Leave with Years of Service \nMaternity/Paternity Leave \nRecognition Rewards\nCompensation\nHourly Rate: $50.00 - $55.00 USD per hour\nThe pay range shown reflects the minimum and maximum hourly rates the company may offer for this position.
