LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nAs a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will support the Mechanical Commissioning Lead in executing various Data Centre commissioning activities, ensuring the seamless operation of mechanical systems within the Data Centre. Your role involves close collaboration with the Mechanical Commissioning Lead, Project Manager (PM) and other client team stakeholders focusing on safety, efficiency, and accuracy.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in the execution of Level 2 (Component Level), Level 3 (System Level), Level 4 (Integration Level), and Level 5 (Performance Verification) commissioning activities.\nDevelop and execute test scripts for mechanical systems.\nConduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and infrastructure.\nEnsure all commissioning activities are performed in compliance with project specifications and standards.\nProvide daily updates on the status of test scripts, completed tasks, and identified issues.\nReport progress and any challenges to the Mechanical Commissioning Lead and PM.\nEnsure all issues and test results are documented.\nIdentify and troubleshoot issues that occur throughout testing and log them on the issue log.\nCoordinate with the Mechanical Commissioning Lead, Electrical Lead, and other team members on daily activities and testing schedules.\nOversee vendor field coordination and manage Approved Personnel (APs).\nCollaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of mechanical systems.\nAdhere to all site safety procedures and protocols, ensuring a safety-conscious work environment.\nProvide system-specific training and test script approvals for trainee staff.\nIdentify and mitigate potential safety risks during commissioning activities.\nSkills Required:\nProficiency in developing and executing test scripts for various commissioning levels.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.\nExcellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical issues.\nAnalytical thinking and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting.\nEffective communication skills for reporting daily activities and coordinating with team members.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including electrical and operations staff.\nStrong understanding of site safety procedures and protocols.\nCommitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications:\nMechanical Trade Qualification / Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred.\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.\nBenefits:\nVHI Healthcare Cover\nLife Assurance\nPension Contribution\nTraining And Educational Assistance\nAnnual GP Check-Up\nExtra Annual Leave\nHealthcare Screening\nRecognition Rewards\nLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
