LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Specialist Intern to support Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. This internship provides hands-on experience in mission-critical facility operations, maintenance planning, performance reporting, continuous improvement, and operational coordination.\nThe Operations Specialist Intern will work closely with the Regional O&M Manager, Site Managers, O&M Leads, engineers, technicians, and other support functions. This individual will assist with tracking operational priorities, analyzing performance data, supporting CMMS activities, maintaining documentation, and identifying opportunities to improve operational consistency, efficiency, and reliability.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone earlier in their professional career who is interested in operations, engineering, facilities management, maintenance, data analysis, or project coordination within the semiconductor industry.\nResponsibilities:\nRegional Operations Support\nSupport the Regional O&M Manager with day-to-day coordination of O&M activities across multiple semiconductor facilities.\nAssist with tracking regional priorities, deliverables, action items, and operational commitments.\nCoordinate with Site Managers, O&M Leads, engineers, technicians, and support functions to gather operational information.\nMaintain regional action trackers and follow up with responsible owners on open items.\nSupport preparation for regional operations reviews, customer meetings, and internal leadership meetings.\nKPI & Performance Reporting\nCollect and consolidate site-level O&M performance data into regional reporting.\nTrack KPIs such as PM compliance, CM backlog, overdue work orders, equipment availability, MTBF, response time, safety performance, and resource utilization.\nAssist with developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, Excel trackers, and operational scorecards.\nIdentify trends, gaps, and recurring performance issues and escalate findings to the Regional O&M Manager.\nSupport weekly and monthly regional performance reports.\nCMMS / Maximo Support\nAssist with reviewing Maximo/CMMS data for accuracy and completeness.\nTrack open, overdue, and aging PM/CM work orders.\nSupport work-order data cleanup and reporting.\nAssist with asset hierarchy, job plan, PM frequency, and maintenance history reviews.\nWork with site teams to improve CMMS data quality and reporting consistency.\nOperational Planning\nAssist with manpower and resource-utilization tracking across regional sites.\nSupport PTO, coverage, overtime, and staffing analysis where required.\nMaintain regional schedules for major PMs, shutdowns, equipment maintenance, vendor activities, and operational milestones.\nHelp identify upcoming resource constraints and conflicts.\nSupport development of regional look-ahead reports.\nContinuous Improvement\nSupport identification and tracking of continuous-improvement opportunities.\nAnalyze maintenance and operational data to identify recurring failures, inefficiencies, or excessive maintenance effort.\nAssist with tracking cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.\nSupport standardization of processes, reporting, job plans, and operating procedures across sites.\nMaintain a regional lessons-learned and best-practice repository.\nDocumentation & Program Administration\nMaintain regional O&M documentation, trackers, meeting minutes, procedures, and performance records.\nSupport development and revision of SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, job plans, checklists, and operational procedures.\nAssist with document-control activities and ensure current revisions are available to site teams.\nTrack training, qualification, and competency requirements where applicable.\nSupport preparation of customer presentations and management reports.\nSemiconductor Facilities Exposure\nDevelop an understanding of critical semiconductor facility systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, chilled water, process cooling water, UPW, wastewater, process vacuum, compressed air, gas/chemical, controls, and life-safety systems.\nParticipate in site walks, operational reviews, maintenance planning meetings, and equipment reliability discussions.\nGain exposure to the relationship between facilities reliability and semiconductor manufacturing uptime.\nFollow all site requirements relating to EHS, LOTO/COHE, cleanroom protocols, and operational controls.\nAny other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.\nSkills Required:\nA minimum of 1 year of experience supporting facilities or project coordination on construction projects required\nStrong interest in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities operations, maintenance, engineering, or mission-critical environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and interpret data.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nExperience with Maximo is strongly preferred\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications\nHigh School Diploma is required.\nBachelor’s degree in Project Management or Engineering discipline is advantageous, but not required.\nEquivalent field experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where
