LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nThe Process Gas Project Manager is responsible for the onsite construction and integration of process gas within a large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio. This role coordinates the construction and delivery of process gas systems and their interfaces with broader facility infrastructure while working closely with the Director of Construction, engineering, construction contractors, project controls, EHS, quality, commissioning, operations, and other project stakeholders. The position provides project and field leadership from planning through construction, testing, commissioning support, system turnover, and closeout.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the onsite construction execution of process gas systems and infrastructure .\nManage projects from initial planning through construction, testing, commissioning support, turnover, and closeout.\nDevelop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, project controls, and change management.\nCoordinate general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.\nReview drawings, specifications, P&IDs, construction documents, schedules, and system requirements.\nCoordinate process gas piping, mechanical equipment, utility interfaces, and associated infrastructure.\nSupport coordination of bulk gas systems and interfaces between the contractors and customer site infrastructure.\nMonitor contractor performance, manpower, productivity, schedule progress, materials, and upcoming work.\nLead and participate in daily and weekly construction planning meetings, coordination meetings, field walks, and schedule reviews.\nWork closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve RFIs, design changes, constructability concerns, and field issues.\nCoordinate construction activities to maintain alignment with the overall project schedule.\nSupport change management activities including scope validation, cost impacts, and commercial documentation.\nCoordinate with project controls to track schedule progress, milestones, forecasts, and project risks.\nEnsure process gas construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, applicable codes, and site standards.\nPartner with EHS teams and contractors to maintain a strong safety culture and Culture of Caring.\nSupport quality inspections, testing, documentation, punch list activities, system turnover, and closeout.\nCoordinate interfaces with civil, structural, architectural, electrical, instrumentation and controls, mechanical, utilities, commissioning, and operations teams.\nSupport pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as systems are completed and turned over.\nIdentify potential schedule, safety, quality, and technical risks and proactively develop solutions.\nProvide regular project status updates to the Director of Construction.\nAny other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.\nSkills Required:\nStrong project management and field leadership skills.\nStrong understanding of industrial process gas and utility systems.\nExperience managing industrial process gas, utility, mechanical, or piping construction.\nExperience managing contractors and subcontractors on major construction projects.\nAbility to manage multiple contractors and technical disciplines simultaneously.\nStrong understanding of industrial construction means and methods.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and related technical documentation.\nExperience with project scheduling, budget management, change control, and construction execution.\nStrong understanding of project controls, contractor performance, schedule management, and field coordination.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively with owners, engineering teams, contractors, vendors, project controls, commissioning teams, and operations.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling and documentation tools.\nStrong commitment to safety, quality, and a Culture of Caring.\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, large-scale industrial construction environment.\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.\nOSHA 30 certification preferred.\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.\nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance \nLife, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance \nTraining and Education Assistance \n401k Retirement Plan \nExtra Annual Leave with Years of Service \nMaternity/Paternity Leave \nRecognition Rewards\nLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
