LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nWe are seeking a Facilities Engineer to support the successful execution of engineering projects within a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility. This role provides onsite engineering support for facility expansion, system upgrades, commissioning, startup, and operational transition projects while ensuring systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project and operational requirements. This position requires strong collaboration across engineering, construction, operations, and project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide onsite facilities engineering support for large-scale expansion, upgrade, commissioning, startup, and operational transition projects.\nLead and participate in design reviews to ensure system reliability, operability, maintainability, and compliance with project requirements.\nSupport construction and field execution activities, including issue resolution, technical troubleshooting, and contractor coordination.\nPlan, execute, and support commissioning, startup, testing, and system turnover activities.\nAct as the engineering focal point between project teams, operations, design partners, construction contractors, and stakeholders.\nDrive project-to-operations transition activities, ensuring systems are safely and effectively handed over to facility operations teams.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and execution risks throughout the project lifecycle.\nTrack engineering deliverables, startup readiness metrics, punch lists, and execution milestones, providing regular status updates to project leadership.\nReview technical documentation, procedures, commissioning reports, and turnover packages to ensure quality and completeness.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and apply lessons learned to improve safety, reliability, and project execution performance.\nAny other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.\nSkills Required:\n3-5 years of facilities engineering experience supporting mission-critical environments such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data centers, advanced manufacturing, or similar industries.\nExperience supporting facility expansion, capital projects, commissioning, startup, or operational readiness activities.\nKnowledge of facility utility systems and infrastructure within high-tech manufacturing environments.\nExperience reviewing engineering documentation, commissioning plans, turnover packages, and technical procedures.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, construction, operations, and project management teams.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required.\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.\nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance \nLife, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance \nTraining and Education Assistance \n401k Retirement Plan \nExtra Annual Leave with Years of Service \nMaternity/Paternity Leave \nRecognition Rewards\nLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
