LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. \nLotusWorks is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities on large-scale semiconductor or mission-critical projects. This role will serve as the client’s commissioning representative and act as a key interface between construction teams, the client, and commissioning personnel.\nThe Commissioning Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of commissioning activities across complex mechanical and utility systems while maintaining schedule, quality, and factory readiness priorities.\n Responsibilities:\nLead and manage commissioning personnel and processes across all project phases.\nAct as the client’s commissioning representative, coordinating between construction teams, the client, and commissioning personnel.\nOversee commissioning of complex HVAC and utility systems, including Oil Free Air, process cooling water, purified water, chemical and gas systems, cooling towers, and chilled water systems.\nImplement and maintain commissioning quality control processes.\nManage and track construction and commissioning KPIs.\nCoordinate commissioning activities with construction and the project master schedule.\nWork closely with construction teams on commissioning task sequencing and scheduling.\nPrioritize, schedule, and execute Construction Complete / Green Tag items.\nManage look-ahead scopes and scope prioritization based on factory needs.\nMaintain a one-day turnaround for commissioning issue resolution when feasible.\nIdentify early-run or work-around scenarios to support schedule and operational goals.\nPerform detailed design reviews to ensure alignment with Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design (BOD).\nConduct detailed submittal reviews for commissioned systems.\nReview multi-discipline construction documents and identify potential issues early.\nDevelop, write, and distribute construction checklists and commissioning procedures.\nConvert commissioning documentation into electronic formats and support integration into commissioning and project management software platforms.\nCoordinate commissioning efforts with design teams, General Contractor, and construction partners.\nLiaise between clients, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and internal LotusWorks teams.\nPlan, lead, and document commissioning meetings; distribute meeting minutes as required.\nEnsure commissioning activities are incorporated into overall project planning and execution.\nMaintain a consistent on-site presence throughout construction and commissioning.\nPerform regular field inspections, audits, and quality checks.\nEnsure commissioning personnel on site are knowledgeable of active construction scopes.\nUphold LotusWorks’ standards for safety, quality, and performance.\nAny other duties that may be assigned to your role.\nSkills Required:\n5 + years of managing commissioning personnel and the commissioning process\nExperience in project commissioning personnel and process management required\nExperience with facilities operations\nExperience with conducting commissioning projects utilizing Cx software's\nDetailed design review experience required.\nDetailed submittal review experience required.\nAbility to read and understand multi-discipline construction documents and the ability to identify potential issues contained within.\nSoftware proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint) and Smartsheet.\nSoftware proficiency in construction management software platforms (BIM360, Procore, Autodesk, Prolog etc.)\nEducation / Licenses / Certifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred, but not required (Equivalent field experience is acceptable)\nProof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable\nBenefits:\nMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance \nLife, Short-Term, Long-Term Disability Insurance\nTraining and Education Assistance\n401k Retirement Plan\nExtra Annual Leave with Years of Service\nMaternity/Paternity Leave\nRecognition Rewards\nLotusWorks is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
