This one keeps you close to the craft and the customer.\nYou'll build, develop, and lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers who partner with our customers at the frontier of what Lovable can do, solving hard technical problems across our frontend, backend and AI systems. The goal isn't just to make individual deployments succeed. It's to spot what should become part of the Lovable platform and act on it.\nAs one of a small group of FDE leaders, you'll set the technical bar for the function and help define how it scales, from its engineering standards and ways of working to how it works with customers and our core product teams.\nIf you want to build an exceptional engineering team without stepping away from building yourself, this is that role.\nWhat we're looking for\n12+ years across software engineering, technical architecture, and customer-facing engineering\n\nExperience leading and developing high-performing technical teams\n\nA track record of remaining deeply hands-on as your leadership scope has grown\n\nStrong full-stack engineering fundamentals, including React and TypeScript on the frontend and robust backend development\n\nStrong architectural thinking and familiarity with distributed systems\n\nExperience owning complex technical engagements end-to-end\n\nExceptional product intuition and ability to work directly with users\n\nAbility to move comfortably between writing code, making architectural decisions, leading engineers, and working with senior stakeholders\n\nComfort operating with high ambiguity, agency, and velocity\n\nBonus if you've:\nScaled a team or technical function from zero\n\nWorked on agentic AI systems or built with LLMs in production\n\nLed zero-to-one product development\n\nWorked in a founding or early startup environment\n\nWorked across high-growth startups, big tech, consulting, or enterprise AI\n\nWhat you'll do\nBuild, develop, and lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers\n\nWork directly with customers to understand their workflows, needs, and hardest technical problems\n\nDesign, prototype, and implement solutions alongside your team\n\nOwn and guide projects end-to-end, from discovery and architecture through shipping and iteration\n\nSet the technical bar through architecture decisions, code reviews, and hands-on engineering\n\nTranslate insights from customer deployments into foundational platform improvements\n\nPartner with other FDE leads to shape the function's engineering standards, rituals, and playbooks as it scales globally\n\nContribute to core product strategy, technical decisions, and cultural foundations\n\nOur Tech Stack\nBackend: Golang & Rust\n\nFrontend: React, TypeScript\n\nCloud: Cloudflare, GCP, AWS, multiple LLM providers\n\nTooling: GitHub Actions, OTEL, Grafana, Terraform, and more\n\nAbout your application\nPlease submit your application in English -
