You will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the development process from design concepts to prototypes and final product assortment, and work cross functionally with the Fashion Design, Production & Merchandising teams within Love, Bonito. This role will report directly into our Product Development Manager.\nYou should have / be\nA Love, Bonito Culture Fit\nA knack for problem solving with an ability to think ‘out of the box’; highly adaptable and flexible and ability to adjust and refine when the need arises\nA genuine curiosity to know how things work and how to make them better\nA skilled technical product developer\nBasic technical knowledge - fit, pattern, costing and with the ability to work closely with design and production counterparts\nAn organised, systematic thinker\nDetailed oriented, with excellent communication and project coordination skills\nDemonstrates a genuine passion for garment construction, with a strong fashion sense and a keen eye for proportion, silhouette, lines, and cutting details.\nResponsible and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.\nMain responsibilities\nFitting Operations\nTo make sure that sample packages are properly unpacked, logged in, ironed and organised before each fit session. \nChecking measurements and taking photos during fittings\nSupport Designers and Product Developers by documenting fit comments during fit sessions, with the goal of eventually leading fit sessions independently once sufficiently experienced.\nAble to identify fit issues during fitting sessions and quickly propose practical solutions to address them. \nSample Development\nAccurately measure and log garment measurements at each sample stage\nProactively flags fit issues and seeks support or guidance in a timely manner when needed.\nExecutes and translates fit comments accurately, ensuring clear and timely communication to minimize misunderstandings, reduce resample rounds, and keep sample development on track.\nBalances product quality, manufacturability, production cost, and selling price to protect target margins, while driving creative and innovative solutions to optimize material usage and reduce production costs.\nSupport Product Developers with day to day supplier queries.\nTrack and manage sampling timelines with respective suppliers. \nProvides administrative support, including parcel invoicing, and collaborates with the team to develop guidebooks, SOPs, reports, presentations, and other documentation.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\n1+ years of experience in the apparel industry\nDiploma in Fashion Apparel or relevant textile / clothing experience acquired in manufacturing\nProficient in all fundamental technical aspects of garment-making and fitting\nExcellent organisational and follow-up skills as well as the ability to work independently\nGood command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin is necessary\nBenefits\n1.
