It’s about success, of course, but it’s also about making a positive impact on everyone our business touches.\nAbout the Role\nAs our Sr. Merchandise Planner, you will own the financial and inventory strategy for assigned product categories across channels, translating enterprise goals, customer insights, and product strategies into actionable merchandise plans. Serving as a strategic business partner to Brand and cross-functional teams, you will shape pre-season and in-season decisions that optimize sales, margin, inventory productivity, and profitable growth.\nYou will develop and manage category plans across key performance indicators and through analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning, you will identify risks and opportunities, influence investment decisions, and help build scalable plans for new products and categories while delivering against financial targets.\nWhat You’ll Do\nCreates pre-season plans across multiple channels, consistent with the company's top-down goals, to be used in the development of the merchandise strategies for the season and to support line development and buying needs. \nWorks closely with Planning and Brand partners to develop preseason product trends to revise the season's plan with updated projections that maximize sales and profitability.\nPartners with Planning leads to present monthly revisions of demand plans to Merchandise/Inventory Planning executives.\nAnalyzes historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities. Review and analyze business performance trends.\nUnderstands and forecasts effects of markdowns on item sales rates and category/department profitability. \nEngages in all meetings involving the Merchandise Planning department (ex.
