The Merchandising Analyst partners with vendors to plan and execute item-level promotions aligned with event strategies, ensuring achievement of margin expectations and promotional depth targets.\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nCore Responsibilities:\nCategory & Business Insights\nSupport Merchants in evaluating opportunities to drive incremental revenue and margin improvement.\nDevelop presentations and analytical insights for merchants and vendors to support strategic planning, vendor negotiations, and execution of merchandising initiatives.\nProvide actionable insights on category performance, vendor economics, promotional effectiveness, and assortment productivity.\nDeliver weekly reporting to the Merchant team, including sales, margin, and inventory productivity across category hierarchies.\nVendor and cross functional stakeholder management\nInitiate vendor and item setup activities based on inputs from the U.S. Merchant team\nConduct freight analysis to support 2P/3P channel decisions.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve vendor or product-related issues impacting availability or performance, including tracking and closure of tickets.\nSupport Merchants in vendor negotiations by ensuring cost justification documentation is complete, validated, and submitted to relevant stakeholders.\nOmni Execution of Products/Items\nCollaborate with SSC merchandising teams to understand the online promotional calendar and event requirements.\nEngage with vendors to source online promotional items and ensure alignment with event strategies, including margin and promotional depth targets.\nEnsure featured deals are accurately set up, vendor-funded where applicable, and meet profitability expectations.\nReview and validate proforma documents, vendor agreements, buying terms, and allowances for accuracy and compliance.\nPartner with vendors to ensure omni-channel readiness, including product attributes, images, descriptions, and digital content.\nManage and validate cost changes to ensure alignment with margin expectations and profitability guardrails.\nMaintain accuracy and integrity of product data, including cost, vendor agreements, and stocking information.\nYears of Experience:\nMinimum 2 years of experience retail / merchandising\nEducation Qualification & Certifications (optional)\nRequired Minimum Qualifications:\nGraduate/Bachelor's Degree -
