This includes responsibility for the continuous power and HVAC to the server production environment, facility staff supervision, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, contract management and facilitation of multiple work activities. The role will provide day-to-day oversight and direction to ensure operational safety and efficiency for 100% uptime. The Assistant Manager will accomplish these responsibilities though the effective coordination of facility personnel and vendors. The facility team will work cross functionally to deliver strategic and functional initiatives in-line with operational goals.\nWhat You Will Do\nOversee safe and continuous operation of the data center facilities on systems, such as: fire/life, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) and electrical UPS, PDU, generators, switch gear, and lighting)\nOversee preventive maintenance and repairs of base building and critical facility systems.\nParticipate in 24X7 on-call rotation to address around the clock response and remediation of facility anomalies.\nAssist in the development and coordination of facility upgrades and repairs while ensuring minimal risk and impact to the data center.\nEnsure compliance of all code, laws, and regulations affecting the facility infrastructure and operation.\nOversee vendor management including contract oversight, and on-site coordination.\nOversee computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). \nDevelop and maintain facility drawing library, SOP’s, SOO’s, and MOP’s.\nWorks with business unit leadership ensuring that the facility efficiently supports the needs of their functional activities.\nEnsures that the facilities remain in compliance with NFPA, local fire municipalities, OSHA and EPA regulations.\nDocument work activities, approvals, and incidence root cause analysis through change control and quality processes\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree Architecture, Engineering, Business or related field of study or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable\n3 Years Experience in facility planning, space planning, facility utilization, program and project management for a large, geographically dispersed, campus environment\nFacilities maintenance experience and certifications\nBuilding automation system experience\nConstruction management experience\nExperience with Microsoft Office Applications, Word, and Excel\nPreferred Skills/Education\nTrade license and/or trade school degree in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical HVAC, or Controls\nCollege degree in facility management, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or alike.\nAbout Lowe’s\nLowe's Companies, Inc.
