Monitors staffing plan regularly and adjusts as needed.\nProvides inspired leadership for the organization.\nPromotes a culture that encourages top performance and high morale.\nOnboards and trains supervisors overseeing the performance and coaching of supervisors.\nCommunicates effectively with inbound/outbound Operations Supervisors regarding business objectives, safety issues, current issues, upcoming events, and demand for the day.\nReports on key performance metrics to upper management and Store Support Center (SSC).\nSets Operations Supervisors up for success to achieve or exceed key performance indicators, safety, performance, and budget targets.\nCollaborates with the other operational shifts to ensure consistent processes and expectations.\nCollaborates cross-functionally with Support Managers and Operational counterparts to ensure operational shifts have proper communication, short and long-term staffing plans, and are meeting the customers’ needs.\nIdentifies and acts on needs for efficient operations, safety issues, and bottlenecks.\nReports on key performance and financial figures to upper management and SSC.\nResponsible for the key operations performance metrics of the shift.\nIdentifies and assists in implementing process improvements or new processes launched from SSC.\nAttracts and hires talented individuals for the team (including Operations Supervisors, seasonal and full time Team Members).\nSets goals, communicates clear expectations for associates, and provides timely and constructive feedback.\nMonitors and manages associate performance, holding them accountable to expected behaviors and performance levels.\nProvides resources and support to associates as needed.\nAssists Operations Supervisors with any issues that may arise that need the resolution of management.\nCommunicates effectively with associates regarding business objectives or current issues.\nProvides associates with meaningful developmental opportunities and prepares them for upward promotion as applicable.\nSponsors and leads associates through change.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable\n3 years Experience in distribution center operations or related area (or 7 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area with increasing responsibilities if education requirement not met)\n7 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area with increasing responsibilities if education requirement not met\nLeadership experience with direct report responsibility, including leading salary level direct reports\nExperience mentoring and coaching others\nExperience leading a team through change\nExperience managing resources, time, and budget\nExperience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems\nExperience taking a lead role in a Corporate-led initiative or leadership experience in another Lowe’s supply chain network facility\nExperience leading others through change\nAbout Lowe’s\nLowe's Companies, Inc.
