This role ensures that the correct quantity and quality of product gets to the customer by monitoring the products and the accuracy of the facility's processes. In addition, this role creates and monitors the facility shrink budget, cataloging gains and losses. This role also organizes an inventory cycle count bi-annually for the facility.\nWhat You Will Do\nComplies with safety requirements and builds a culture of safety among subordinates and peers\nAssists associates with HR related issues including questions/concerns with attendance, pay, benefits, job changes, voluntary terminations, I-9 verification, unemployment claims, and workplace accommodations\nCommunicates clear expectations for associates and provides timely and constructive feedback\nMonitors and manages associate performance, ensuring that associates are executing assigned tasks accurately and as scheduled\nMentors and builds relationships with associates, recording planned encounters when needed, and completing annual reviews\nHolds associates in department accountable to expected behaviors and performance levels\nOrganizes bi-annual warehouse inventory count event\nMonitors the shrink budget that identifies gains and losses of inventory dollars (weekly holding account) and communicates with Corporate as needed\nReports to upper management and Corporate damages that have occurred in-house over a certain threshold\nAssists associates with any issues with product that arises (e.g., free astray product)\nAudits processes across the facility to ensure correct process is being utilized by Operational and Support associates; record inaccuracies and report to Operational and Support Supervisors\nCreates and documents training for associates\nAssists Damage Coordinator in the resolution and recording of damaged and salvaged product\nTrains Operations associates to perform cycle counts for bi-annual inventory count of warehouse\nPerforms or assist associates in performing receiving packet audits\nVerifies scheduled and maintenance cycle counts are being completed within the scheduled period to maintain facility inventory integrity\nConducts BDC inventory process annually\nWorks to resolve Operational discrepancies during receiving, picking, moving of product through facility; utilizes the Missing Carton process and additional research\nResolves and monitors cancelled picks, LTSU’s, hand keys and returned DTC orders\nManages inventory and systematically processes any company donations to non-profit organizations\nCommunicates effectively with associates regarding business objectives or current issues\nProvides associates with meaningful developmental opportunities and prepares them for upward promotion if interested\nDiscusses and resolves issues with and between associates\nParticipates in the hiring process by initiating job requisitions when appropriate and interviewing prospective candidates\nEnsures associates receive proper training\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable\n4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area\nPreferred Skills/Education\nExperience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously requiring a strong ability to prioritize and manage time\nLeadership experience with direct report responsibility\nExperience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems\nExperience mentoring and coaching others\nExperience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe’s DMS system\n About Lowe's\nLowe’s Companies, Inc.
