As a supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring your teams regularly follow proper policies, regulations, and safety procedures.\nYou also play a key role in communicating workload plans, engaging with associates, and working with other teams to drive the overall success of our supply chain operations. Your day is dynamic and focused on optimizing operations. You oversee task allocation, monitor production, and make real-time decisions to improve workflow. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day operations to ensure seamless workflow, prompt deliveries, and cost-effective practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise and lead operations associates in receiving, order-fill, shipping, and supporting tasks.\nMonitor production volume and allocate tasks for optimal workflow and performance.\nEnforce safety protocols, conduct training, and promptly address safety concerns.\nRespond quickly to changing workflow conditions, making real-time decisions.\nResolve operational issues to minimize disruptions in supply chain operations.\nCommunicate business objectives, daily workload plans, and performance expectations.\nProvide support and guidance to associates through associate relations issues.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams for enhanced supply chain performance.\nMinimum Qualifications\n4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area OR Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field\nMinimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; ability to lift up to 70 pounds.\nBasic math and reading comprehension skills\nBasic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office\nProven record of complying with safety requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building a culture of safety among direct reports and peers\nLeadership experience with direct report responsibility\nExperience mentoring and coaching others\nExperience monitoring the work of others to ensure quality\nExperience working with and communicating to leadership\nPrevious leadership roles in other Lowe's supply chain facilities, or leadership roles in Corporate-led initiatives\nExperience with software applications such as Microsoft Office and/or a Warehouse Management System\nBi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility\nSchedule Requirements\nAvailable to work a set schedule that may be changed by management based on the facility's needs.\nMay be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the facility's needs.\nWorking Conditions\nEnvironmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.\nLifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 70 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 70 pounds or when needed.
