Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up - we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.\nYour Impact\nThe primary purpose of this role is to support all aspects related to processing accurate and timely bi-weekly and off cycle payrolls for all Lowe's US employees in order for Analysts and Consultants to confirm and process payroll. This includes responsibility for providing outstanding customer service to HR managers in the field, managers representing employees, and/or employees themselves by answering questions, responding to requests, and providing assistance in a positive, confidential, and professional manner. In addition, this role maintains employee data, including direct deposits, general deductions, hours corrections, and manual calculations.\nWhat You Will Do\nServes as the subject matter expert for payroll related inquires\nCompletes necessary research to resolve payroll issues, responding in a professional and timely manner by phone and/or email\nInputs adjustments into Workday for pay and pay related items such as earnings and deductions\nGenerates and reviews queries associated with pay processing to ensure accuracy of pay and identify potential errors\nProcesses bi-weekly payments and off cycle checks as needed for special processes or requests\nCoordinates stop payments, voids, direct deposit funding adjustments and reissues and reconciles as requested by appropriate business\nProcesses other payments such as severance, relocation, refunds, shift payments, etc.\nSupports the bi-weekly close process as needed by reviewing and resolving payroll error messages and other audits for payroll to run once messages are closed\nExercises extreme confidentiality to protect high volumes of employee information and data\nSupports vendor managed programs to support the business such as Equifax and Money Network\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable\n2 Years Experience processing high volume payroll\nExperience working independently and/or as part of a team\nPreferred Skills/Education\nAssociate degree Business related field \nBachelor’s degree Business related field \nFunction Payroll Certification \nAbout Lowe’s\nLowe’s Companies, Inc.
