This may include research, data analysis, and hands-on tasks.\nProvide technical support to engineers and other team members. This may involve troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of equipment or systems.\nMaintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to engineering activities. This includes project logs, test results, and design specifications.\nConduct research on relevant engineering topics and industry trends. Analyze data and propose recommendations based on findings.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure project success and alignment with company goals.\nAdhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the workplace to maintain a safe working environment.\nTake advantage of learning opportunities, mentorship, and networking within the organization to enhance your engineering skills and knowledge.\nDemonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.\nAbility to work and interact well with others.\nIndustrial/Mechanical:\nResponsible for ensuring accurate maintenance of Routing and Bills of Material files on corporate manufacturing data management system.\nDevelops procedures and provides training on new processes, tools and equipment, including developing and designing workplace layout and methods.\nEvaluates need, analyzes options, develops plan, develops Appropriation Request (AR) and manages implementation of project until completed within the allotted time frame.\nAssists support personnel in less complex technical matters as needed.\nDevelops, installs and maintains optimum processes for the safe manufacture of quality product in a productive manner.\nProduct:\nCoordinate creation of product and technical drawings as requested by customers and/or sales.\nIdentify and distribute appropriate installation instructions for customer/sales requests and to support product management. \nProvide product technical information support (load capacities, dimensional details, product cube/weight, etc.) as appropriate to sales and customers.\nResponsible for new color/finish creation including color match, vendor interaction, and developing appropriate pricing tier.\nQuality:\nCollects data and analyzes trends to resolve customer problems and drive continuous improvement projects.\nConducts quality system audits to ensure consistency in processes and procedures.\nAssists other departments and team members with quality related questions, issues, documentation and training requests for production employees. \nCollaborates with multiple departments and individuals regarding resolution of quality problems.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation: Current enrollment or recent graduate in a related Bachelor degree program.\nExperience: No previous experience required.\nRequired Skills\nStrong academic record with coursework in relevant engineering disciplines.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.\nHigh sense of urgency.\nEagerness to take initiative and work on challenging technical projects.\nAbility to work independently and in a team.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nBasic technical knowledge and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.\nBasic math and computer skills.\nProficiency in engineering software and tools.\nPreferred Skills\nKnowledge of Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) or similar measurement system.\nGeneral knowledge of standard manufacturing processes.\nWelding knowledge.\n2D or 3D modeling experience.\nAbility to use measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, tape measure and various electronic meters.\nSPECIAL DEMANDS\nSome travel may be required depending on assignment.\nMay support customer visits, sample/prototype set ups, and training.\nThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
