This role spans application development, cloud integration, and AI product development. You will build features across our internal and client-facing applications and own the integrations that connect them to cloud services and data sources. You will take your work from design through to production, working alongside our engineering team and business stakeholders. You will also help build our AI products, including LLM-powered tools, agents, and workflows, and use AI-assisted development tools as part of how you work.\nThis position is ideal for a strong problem solver who is passionate about writing clean, scalable code, eager to keep growing their technical skills, and excited to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and build features across our client-facing analytics platform and internal applications using C#/.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, owning delivery from design through production and working with the technical lead on architecture decisions \nWrite clean, well-documented, and maintainable code in accordance with team standards and best practices \nUse AI-assisted development tools effectively in your day-to-day work, while owning the quality, security, and correctness of the code you ship \nWork with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, think through edge cases and alternatives, and turn them into technical designs and working solutions \nPlan your work before you build: break features down into tasks, estimate effort, identify risks and dependencies early, and keep the team informed on progress in Azure DevOps \nParticipate in code reviews and guide junior developers on patterns and team standards, while giving and receiving constructive feedback \nContribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting releases and validating changes across environments after deployment \nOwn the integrations connecting our applications to cloud services and data sources on Microsoft Azure \nTroubleshoot complex issues across application code, cloud integrations, and data movement, working methodically to find root causes and escalating architectural concerns to the technical lead \nBuild AI products and AI-powered features, including LLM-based tools, agents, and workflows, taking them from prototype through production \nStay current with emerging technologies and best practices, bringing practical recommendations to the team \nParticipate across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including design discussions, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and optimization \nQualifications and Skills\n3-5 years of professional, hands-on experience in software engineering \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of working through complex or ambiguous problems to practical solutions \nExperience designing scalable, maintainable systems, including planning the technical approach, weighing trade-offs, and thinking ahead to how a solution will need to grow \nStrong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and SQL Server \nExperience building and deploying applications and integrations on Microsoft Azure \nSolid understanding of relational databases and SQL; exposure to non-relational databases is a plus \nComfort with Git-based workflows, version control, and collaborative development practices \nSolid understanding of CI/CD practices and automated testing; experience with Azure DevOps is a plus \nKnowledge of common software design patterns and principles \nFamiliarity with Entity Framework and other common .NET data access frameworks \nExperience with Python or other languages for AI integration or data automation is a plus \nHands-on experience building AI products or integrating LLM capabilities into applications is preferred \nRegular use of AI coding assistants, with the judgment to review, test, and validate AI-generated code \nGood communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teammates \nExperience reviewing code or guiding junior developers is a plus \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required \nExperience in financial services, asset management, or analytics platforms is a plus \nApplicants must
