At LPA you’ll be part of the team that is changing the way the industry thinks about design and carbon emissions, built around the belief that we only achieve our goals when everybody has a seat at the table and all input is valued.\nWhat you will do:\nTalent Acquisition\nPlay an active role in helping LPA identify, attract and hire talented people across our disciplines and studios.\nPartner with hiring managers and firm leaders to understand staffing needs, position requirements and the profile of successful candidates.\n\nSupport the full recruiting lifecycle, from developing job postings and sourcing candidates through interviews, offers and pre-employment activities.\n\nProactively source and engage prospective candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, universities and other recruiting channels.\n\nReview applications and conduct initial candidate screenings to assess experience, interests and alignment with position requirements.\n\nCoordinate interviews while creating a thoughtful, responsive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.\n\nBuild and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs across LPA's disciplines and studios.\n\nDevelop relationships with promising candidates even when there is not an immediate opening, helping LPA build a long-term talent network\n\nPartner with hiring teams to prepare offers, conduct reference checks and support candidates through the decision and acceptance process.\n\nHelp communicate LPA's culture, integrated design practice and employee experience to prospective candidates.\n\nTrack recruiting activity and outcomes to help the People team understand which sources and strategies are producing strong candidates.\n\nLook for opportunities to continually improve LPA's recruiting process, candidate experience and ability to compete for exceptional talent.\n\nWhat We Will do:\nProvide mentorship from other members of our HR team, Principals and people within LPA\n\nProvide opportunities for your career growth including continuing education opportunities and additional training resources\n\nHave quarterly discussions surrounding your career and continue to explore different facets of HR\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nRequirements:\n5+ years of experience in human resources or related field\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nCommitment to building a long-term professional career\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Outlook, and Excel\n\nAbility to work closely and communicate with C-suite or Principal level leadership\n\nPreferred:\nBachelors Degree\n\nExperience in AEC industry\n\nLPA is an integrated design firm with offices in California and Texas.
