This role is responsible for leading and developing a team focused on monitoring strategy, platform engineering, operational intake, incident support, and observability practices that improve system reliability, performance, and operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will partner across technology teams to implement scalable monitoring solutions and support LPL's hybrid and cloud-based technology ecosystem.\nResponsibilities:\nLead, coach, and develop the Operations Monitoring team while fostering engagement, accountability, and collaboration.\nParticipate in the development and execution of Technology Operations strategies related to monitoring, operational intake, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations.\nOversee the design, implementation, documentation, security, and ongoing support of enterprise monitoring platforms and services.\nEstablish and maintain operational procedures, resource plans, and support schedules for monitoring tools and services.\nSupport production incident management activities, including escalation, communication, coordination, and resolution efforts.\nPartner with Technology Operations leadership to evaluate and recommend monitoring technologies that support business and technology objectives.\nDevelop and enhance operational intake processes to ensure effective end-to-end monitoring, problem detection, root cause identification, and incident response.\nImplement and maintain governance, policies, procedures, access controls, and service catalog processes for monitoring platforms.\nProvide monitoring support capabilities across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and hardware platforms.\nResearch emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, scalability, flexibility, and cost effectiveness.\nMonitor industry trends and advise technology leadership on relevant technologies and operational practices.\nProvide support during after-hours deployments, maintenance activities, and critical production events as required.\nWhat Are We Looking For?\nWe are seeking leaders who are committed to pursue greatness, act with integrity, and are driven to help our clients succeed.
