This role supports enterprise portfolio management functions including demand and delivery management, quality management, reporting, financial management, benefits management, and governance. The AVP, Release Train Engineer partners with technology, business, project, scrum, finance, and vendor teams to ensure program execution aligns with strategic objectives, budget commitments, and enterprise delivery standards.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate with project, scrum, technology, business, and vendor teams to align delivery commitments and outcomes with program and portfolio objectives and key results.\nManage program budgets and partner with finance teams to ensure funding is available, tracked, forecasted, and reported accurately.\nOversee demand intake activities within the LPL Demand and Delivery Framework, ensuring requests align with prioritization, funding availability, and portfolio capacity.\nFacilitate resolution of program-level issues, dependencies, conflicts, and escalations.\nProvide guidance and coordination across project managers and scrum masters to support delivery execution and program objectives.\nIdentify, track, escalate, and remove impediments that impact program delivery.\nAssess project-level risks and dependencies and elevate issues with potential program or portfolio impacts.\nDeliver weekly program status reporting, bi-weekly program health reporting, and monthly portfolio review updates.\nMonitor adherence to software development lifecycle, governance, and enterprise delivery standards.\nTrack and report key program metrics including PI commitments, KPI progress, risk management, delivery performance, and financial results.\nWhat Are We Looking For?\nWe are seeking a professional who is motivated to pursue greatness, act with integrity, and is driven to help our clients succeed. The ideal candidate collaborates effectively across business and technology teams, demonstrates accountability in delivering results, embraces opportunities to win together, and helps create and share joy through positive partnerships and meaningful contributions.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or a related technical field.\n7+ years of experience managing large-scale IT programs with budgets up to $5 million.\n3+ years of experience serving as a Release Train Engineer.\nExperience managing projects and software development lifecycles using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.\nExperience applying analytical and decision-making skills in ambiguous business and technology environments.\nPreferences:\nOutstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to understand program and portfolio impacts.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.\nExperience monitoring and managing vendor performance.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project or similar tools.\nWorking knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration and project management tools.\nPay Range:\n$117,832.00 - $196,318.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
