This individual will be responsible for the design, engineering, and operations of our LAN/WAN and hybrid Data Center (cloud and on prem) environments. The position directly relates to providing scalable, resilient, and secure networking solutions for LPL, our Advisors, and their clients.\nResponsibilities:\nEngineer and architect Data Center, Cloud, and LAN/WAN networking solutions.\n\nConfiguration and deployment of both on premise and cloud-based networking technologies.\n\nResponsible for the network domain as part of our DR strategy.\n\nWide area network design, deployments, and administration of MPLS, DIA, and SDWAN.\n\nCollaborate effectively with various Teams within the organization.\n\nTroubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues and develop continuous improvement.\n\nParticipate in an on-call schedule rotation.\n\nTechnical lead for team helping drive direction and mentoring team members.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nWe want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.\nRequirements:\n10+ years of Data Center Core Network Engineering and Architecture experience in a Cisco-centric environment\n\n2+ years of Cisco NDO & ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst\n\n2+ years of experience in large transformation programs\n\n2+ years of Data Center migration and Hybrid Cloud Networking experience\n\nCore Competencies:\nStrong knowledge of network engineering, network security, and firewalls\n\nExpert knowledge of dynamic Routing Protocols such as OSPF and BGP\n\nProven ability to meet designated deadlines and ability to manage multiple projects.\n\nStrong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technology with business acumen.\n\nExperience designing, architecting, planning and implementing routing, switching and data center solutions and strategies in multi-vendor environment.\n\nPreferences:\nCCIE Certification preferred.\n\nHands-on experience and engineering/architecture level expertise in Cisco ACI, and switches such as Nexus 9000, 7000, 5000 and 2000 Switches.\n\nPrefer a current Cisco Certified Design Professional and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification, but not required.\n\nInfoblox DNS/DHCP expertise.\n\nCloud Networking (i.e. AWS, Azure) experience\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience\n\nPay Range:\n$103,618.00 - $172,628.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
