TheCloud Delivery Architect will possess technical expertise and engineering skills in AWS, which allows them to be considered a subject matter expert and lead for designing reliable, scalable, and secure AWS technical infrastructure solutions. This individual must be able to work in a fast paced, start up like environment, identify requirements and facilitate implementation, while following appropriate change control and release processes.\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with customers/project teams to understand business requirements and capture technical requirements necessary to produce an infrastructure design\n\nPerform systems analysis and evaluations on existing application infrastructure to gain knowledge of the technologies and capabilities of the platform\n\nBe a subject matter expert in AWS security; identity access management; users, roles, policies, permissions, etc.\n\nBe a subject matter expert and be able to provide architectural and engineering guidance for AWS services: focusing on lambda, glue, RDS, step functions, etc.\n\nDefine and develop new cloud Reference Architectures\n\nParticipate in application roadmap planning with stakeholders, application teams and engineering groups\n\nContributes to policies, procedures, and standards\n\nCollaborate with project team members as part of an agile well-formed team\n\nUtilize Jira consistently to track work and provide project status and updates\n\nProvide guidance and consultation on infrastructure deployments\n\nPerforms capacity workload modeling and availability analysis for a variety of platforms and environments.\n\nRecommends changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.\n\nPromote and recommend opportunities for automation and efficiency gains\n\nParticipates in the creation and maintenance of delivery metrics\n\nExecute on multiple efforts in parallel and proactively drive projects forward\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nWe want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.\nRequirements:\n8+ years of experience of cloud architecture design\n\n7+ years hands on experience as an AWS subject matter expert deploying applications\n\n7+ years of experience developing architecture diagrams and documentation\n\n7+ years of experience developing / documenting build specifications using Excel\n\n7+ years of designing, and developing utilizing common AWS services like EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, Any RDS, Streaming (Kafka), Messaging (SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ), Caching (Redis, Ignite, Redshift, Elasticache), NO-SQL and API Gateway\n\nCore Competencies:\nHands on Infrastructure as Code deployments using Terraform\n\nExperience utilizing AWS AMI’s with Amazon Linux and Windows Server\n\nExperience connecting On-Prem Active Directory with AWS services\n\nExperience with AWS Network protocols and diagnosing connection-related issues\n\nFirewalls Rule Management, Port Translation, Quality of Service, and Network Protocol Routing\n\nPreferences:\nBachelor’s Degree\n\nCertifications are a plus (AWS Solutions Architect)\n\nNetwork Security Best Practices and Implementation across diverse technologies and hardware infrastructure.\n\nSSL Certificate Requests, Installation and PKI Management\n\nTechnical Project Management experience a plus\n\nPay Range:\n$155,942.00 - $259,869.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
