The position operates as a strategic integration lead across multiple engineering teams supporting capabilities such as EDR, Email Security, SIEM, Log Management, Secure Browser, CNAPP platforms, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, Firewalls, and AI Security technologies.\nThe role focuses on advancing cloud and enterprise security readiness through platform integration, telemetry optimization, detection alignment, logging strategy, automation engineering, and interoperability across the broader security ecosystem.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a cross-functional engineering lead responsible for improving interoperability, integration, and cloud operational effectiveness across enterprise security technologies.\n\nPartner with platform engineering teams to improve platform integration, telemetry quality, logging consistency, detection coverage, automation capabilities, operational scalability, and overall cloud security readiness.\n\nWork across a broad security technology stack including endpoint detection and response (EDR), email security platforms, SIEM and log management systems, secure browser technologies, cloud security platforms, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, firewalls, and AI security and automation platforms.\n\nPerform cloud security capability mapping and cross-platform gap analysis to identify visibility gaps, detection gaps, telemetry deficiencies, redundant tooling, integration weaknesses, logging inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.\n\nDevelop engineering strategies that enhance interoperability and readiness across cloud and enterprise security platforms.\n\nOptimize SIEM ingestion pipelines, cloud logging strategies, event normalization, telemetry enrichment, and routing mechanisms to improve detection fidelity, signal-to-noise ratio, data quality, cost efficiency, visibility, and platform scalability.\n\nBuild redundancy strategies across cloud and enterprise security controls to increase resiliency and reduce single points of failure.\n\nEnsure security tooling integrations are validated, optimized, and aligned with enterprise cloud security engineering standards and best practices.\n\nDrive automation initiatives to reduce engineering maintenance overhead and improve operational consistency across security platforms.\n\nCoordinate technical initiatives across AI Engineering, Log Management Engineering, Security Platform Engineering, and Engineering Systems Maintenance to ensure alignment and execution.\n\nDevelop enterprise engineering standards and integration patterns for telemetry, logging architectures, event normalization, alert enrichment, automation workflows, and platform interoperability.\n\nPartner with Security Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Architecture, and Cloud Engineering teams to align solutions with enterprise operational security requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain automation tooling using Python, PowerShell, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, and orchestration platforms.\n\nLead technical assessments and onboarding of new cloud security technologies, integrations, and engineering enhancements.\n\nEnsure alignment of cloud security technologies with regulatory, audit, governance, and operational requirements.\n\nProvide technical leadership and guidance across platform integration, optimization initiatives, and engineering strategy execution.\n\nCommunicate integration strategy, engineering priorities, and optimization roadmaps to stakeholders and leadership.\n\nMaintain awareness of emerging technologies including AI-driven security, telemetry engineering practices, detection engineering advancements, and integration methodologies.\n\nDrive engineering simplification and operational efficiency through consolidation, automation, telemetry optimization, and integration standardization.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong individual contributor with deep experience in cloud security engineering, telemetry engineering, SIEM optimization, and enterprise platform integration. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving ability, technical depth, and the ability to drive complex engineering initiatives across independently managed domains.\nRequirements:\n10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security engineering, security architecture, or enterprise security operations\n\n5+ years of experience leading or coordinating large-scale security engineering initiatives across multiple domains\n\n5+ years of experience with enterprise security technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, log management, email security, DLP, IDS/IPS, WAF, firewalls, and cloud security platforms\n\n2+ years of experience in cloud telemetry engineering, event normalization, log pipeline optimization, and SIEM ingestion strategies\n\n2+ years of experience designing and optimizing cross-platform integrations and interoperability frameworks\n\nExperience developing automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, Go, APIs, or orchestration frameworks\n\nCore Competencies:\nStrong understanding of detection engineering, telemetry analysis, cloud logging architectures, and security analytics principles\n\nExperience improving operational readiness and integration maturity across enterprise security platforms\n\nExperience working in regulated enterprise environments, preferably within financial services\n\nExperience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure security architectures\n\nStrong understanding of cloud security engineering best practices, integration methodologies, and platform engineering strategies\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable outcomes\n\nPreferences:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field\n\nIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or AWS Security Specialty\n\nExperience with AI-assisted engineering and automation platforms\n\nExperience with SOAR platforms and orchestration technologies\n\nFamiliarity with data engineering, telemetry pipelines, observability frameworks, and security analytics platforms\n\nExperience optimizing cloud logging costs and SIEM efficiency models\n\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional platform consolidation and engineering optimization initiatives\n\nExperience implementing automation-first engineering strategies and infrastructure-as-code practices\n\nPay Range:\n$154,706.00 - $257,912.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
