Other duties may be assigned.\nRespond to and resolve customer complaints.\nQuote price and availability to customers.\nEnter sales quotations and orders into the computer.\nDiscuss product offerings with customers and answer technical questions.\nFollow up on desirable bills of material and other sales leads.\nMaintain a current knowledge of competitors and industry trends through attendance at seminars, special education and training to assure timely and accurate delivery of product according to customer specification.\nCommunicate market intelligence to other areas of the companies.\nAttend and/or staff trade shows where necessary.\nMaintain an accurate database on sale territories, customer contacts and end users \nAttend and participate in sales meetings.\nTravel with outside sales representative or alone to visit customers, contacts or end users. \nUse personal computer, data entry terminal, fax machine, other office equipment including the digital scanners.\nPrepare and submit reports, documents and records required by company policy. \nUtilize individually and/or further the use of total quality concepts, tools and techniques to support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which the position participates with a positive \"Can Do\" attitude. \nObserve all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, confidentiality of information, and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards. \nPerform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes. \nSupport, encourage and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company. \n\nQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \nMust have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel.\nMust have the ability to utilize Microsoft products such as Word and Excel. \n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -\nAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS - \nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS - \nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.\n\nREASONING ABILITY \nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
