Responsible for implementing the bid process and for creating and maintaining a bid library and standard proposal collateral.\nWhat we offer you\nA purpose-driven organization that values integrity, innovation, and collaboration.\nProfessional growth opportunities through comprehensive development programs and training.\nA full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.\nThe role\nLeads the bid-proposal preparation process to help ensure proposals reach the highest standards in support of the achievement of the Global Sales strategy.\nHas a good understanding of the Offshore business stream and is familiar with the terms and technicalities of the industry.\nProvide support and guidance in writing and reviewing Tender bids and Proposals ensuring consistency across the business.\nCo-ordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders as necessary to identify, document and edit key business, financial and technical requirements. Contributing to proposal commercial and technical strategy in conjunction with segment and commercial management.\nCreate an accessible and valuable library of reusable materials, templates and elements of proposals to enhance and facilitate future bids. Management and maintenance the Global Bids and Proposals Teams Site\nWorking with other Bid Managers, Implement a global bid process for bids and tenders\nAuthor standard proposal sections. Collaboration with Marketing Product Managers to optimize and update product specific bid templates\nCoordinate larger and complex proposal submissions ensuring the end-to-end bid process is managed.\nManage proposal strategy, progress and review meetings with key stakeholders.\nManage and coordinate subcontractor agreements with external and internal shareholders (e.g. Legal Teams, Area Commercial Managers). \nProvide guidance and support on the structure and composition of bids.\nMonitors bid success and implements review procedure for continuous improvement\nWorks to share best practices with countries giving them the tools and knowledge to be autonomous in the less complex bids\nManaging bid or no-bid decisions\nManaging preparation of ATQ documents and relevant approval process\nIn collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. Segment Leads, Area Commercial Managers), creation and maintenance of a central location for tracking winning prices/ rates for different work in different areas (geographical and service type)\nDealing with client enquiries and queries regarding bid related commercial and technical issues to ensure timely response by appropriate colleagues and departments\nWhat You Bring:\nProven experience in writing large bids and tenders\nA high level of literacy, excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAdvanced IT skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.\nThe ability to multitask, organise work effectively and meet deadlines.\nThe ability to work effectively as part of a team and with a wide range of people.\nProven capacity to work on own initiative and with minimal or no supervision.\nExperience of communicating and collaborating with stakeholders.\nExperience of analysing and interpreting financial and technical information.\nThe ability to assess and interpret data to gain insights about client requirements. \nAbout us\nWe are a leading international technical professional service provider and a leader in classification, compliance, and consultancy services to the marine and offshore industry, a trusted advisor to our customers helping to design, construct and operate their assets to the highest levels of safety and performance.
