The Assistant Supervisor will work with staff to ensure peer support, health and wellness coaching, relapse prevention planning, wellness activities, family support, conflict resolution, and other services are provided to guests as needed across the region. The Program Supervisor will report to the Program Director and support oversight of all of the regional respite programs.\n\nAssistant Supervisor Job Responsibilities:\nProvide direct supervision and guidance to Residential Support Staff, including individual and group peer supervision.\nAssist in overseeing daily operations of Residence programs across day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.\nSupport recruitment, hiring, and orientation of program staff.\nCoordinate implementation of individualized service plans for guests.\nEnsure compliance with NYS OMH and Medicaid billing regulations through regular chart audits.\nCollaborate with Utilization Manager and other team members for utilization review processes.\nProvide supportive counseling and encourage healthy choices for residents.\nMaintain program site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety codes.\nRespond to emergency situations, ensuring staff coverage and appropriate crisis interventions.\nComplete required documentation, reports, and maintain program certifications.\nParticipate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.\n\nAssistant Supervisor Qualification:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED).\nPersonal experience as a recipient of mental health services with willingness to share insights to benefit program guests.\nCertification as OMH Certified Peer Specialist or OASAS Certified Peer Recovery Advocate, or willingness to obtain within six months of hire.\n1 year of experience in a behavioral health or related setting providing peer support required.\nAbility to utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills to promote recovery.\nStrong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nPay: $24.03-$28.85 per hour\n\nLiberty Resources is committed to creating a diverse inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
