We are committed to building a diverse workforce that values the contributions of all team members and recognizes cultural beliefs, values, traditions, language preferences, and health practices in support of positive health outcomes.\nMaintenance Technician Job Summary\nThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for general upkeep and repair of agency buildings and grounds, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests using mechanical equipment and tools as assigned.\nMaintenance Technician Job Responsibilities\nAssist with timely upkeep of residential and non-residential properties, including painting, cleaning, repairs, construction, and remodeling, in accordance with agency standards and National Home Builders Association guidelines.\nPerform and document work order requests, including troubleshooting and repairing minor plumbing, mechanical, and electrical issues.\nSupport security and safety across agency properties for residents, tenants, coworkers, vendors, and the public.\nAssist with snow removal during winter months to ensure safe access to buildings and grounds.\nParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours and weekend emergency maintenance needs.\nPerform general maintenance tasks including interior and exterior cleaning, debris removal, lawn care (mowing and trimming), carpet cleaning, painting, sheetrock repair, woodworking, window repair, and minor electrical and plumbing repairs.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related field preferred.\nMinimum of two (2) years of relevant maintenance experience required.\nValid NYS driver’s license required; reliable transportation necessary.
