This role covers the practical delivery of artwork and design collateral to a professional standard, across both print and digital formats. The role protects and evolves the LRQA brand day-to-day, adapting it to suit different audiences or markets, and knowing when it shouldn't.\nThe roles sit within LRQA’s Creative Services function, as part of the Brand and Creative pillar of the Communications team. The Communications team is responsible for the visual expression of the LRQA brand across its global business and solution portfolios, working closely with central and regional marketing functions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAct as a guardian of the LRQA brand, ensuring all creative output is sharp, modern, professional and consistent with brand guidelines.\nIdentify and recommend areas where the brand can flex appropriately, for example by region, audience or channel, without compromising brand integrity.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of brand assets, templates and guidelines, keeping them current and fit for purpose. Design and produce a wide range of marketing and communications materials, including reports, presentations, digital assets, event materials and campaign content.\nExecute artwork to a professional standard, including preparing print-ready files.\nManage multiple design requests and projects concurrently, balancing quality against deadlines across a global business.\nSupport the design and maintenance of templates across the brand portfolio.\nWork closely with the other designer in the team, sharing workload, feedback and standards to ensure consistency across output.\nPartner with central and regional marketing and communications colleagues globally to understand briefs and translate them into effective creative work.\nMaintain a well organised, shared library of design files and assets, so work is easy to find, reuse and hand over.\nWhat You’ll Bring :\nEssential\nProven experience as an in-house or agency designer, ideally within a corporate, professional services or regulated industry environment.\nAdvanced proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop, along with confident use of Canva or similar tools.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, for occasional slide and template work.\nSolid understanding of artworking and print production, including file preparation, colour profiles and working with external printers.\nA genuine eye for brand: the judgement to know what strengthens a brand, what weakens it and where there is room to flex.\nExcellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once, working to deadlines across a global organisation.\nStrong hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign is essential and will be considered a core requirement for this role.\n\nDesirable:\nExperience with a digital asset management (DAM) system or structured approach to file and version management.\nBasic motion or video editing skills, for example in After Effects or Premiere Pro.\nFamiliarity with accessibility considerations for digital assets, such as colour contrast and accessible document structure.\nExperience using a job tracking or workflow tool, such as Asana or Monday.com, to manage design requests.\nExperience designing for a global or multi-market audience, including awareness of localisation and translation needs.\nFamiliarity with UI design tools such as Figma, for input into digital or web-based projects.\nPreEmployment Checks\nIf you are successful in securing a role with us, we will carry out preemployment checks in accordance with what is permitted under local law.\nThese checks may include, where legally allowed: right to work, identification, verification of employment history, education, and criminal record checks.\nWe will engage our thirdparty background screening provider, Cfirst to conduct these checks on our behalf.
