By staying true to our shared values and combining decades of collective experience, we support our clients in building a safer and more sustainable future.\nLRQA currently operates across 50 countries, has more than 2,500 colleagues, generates £315m in revenue, and supports more than 60,000 clients across a diverse range of sectors and markets.\nKey responsibilities\nWithin authorised area of specialism, undertake business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures.\nLead multi-disciplinary and/ or international assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales, and co-ordinating team findings to reach conclusions.\nProduce high quality assessment reports or other reports such as summary reports, reflecting business assurance principles, in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.\nHave sufficient broad knowledge of LRQA products and services to able to discuss additional services with clients and be able to take the opportunity to promote additional or higher value services, while actively building strong relationships.\nEnsure that all internal client stakeholders are kept informed of changes and issues, escalating as appropriate. -Proactively identify opportunities and sales leads and pass these onto appropriate colleagues.\nPass client feedback and insights to appropriate internal recipients initiating and leading client improvement projects as required.\nMaintain professional competence by keeping abreast of technical and other developments in own area of expertise, maintaining CPD records, updating LRQA CV, maintaining professional registrations and producing records of competence as required.\nSupervise induction/coaching/knowledge transfer for assigned new Assessors.\nCoach Auditors under training, recommending authorisation and further development activities as appropriate. Mentor less experienced Lead Assessors to assist in the development of their professional skills.\nPerform additional and ad hoc tasks promptly as required such as assessor development, product development or projects.\nParticipate fully in Auditor meetings including developing materials, presenting and coaching others in own area of expertise as appropriate.\nTechnical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements\nThorough understanding of management systems/scheme requirements and their application via a business assurance approach.\nQualified to assess against more than one major standard, sector scheme e.g. ISO 9001, ISO45001, ISO 14001. -Understanding/ appreciation of relevant legal/ regulatory framework. \nSubstantial experience in third party auditing/assessment including system level auditing and process level auditing.\nUnderstanding of the principles of client management principles and application within the role.\nExperience in developing and managing complex technical projects.\nAppreciation of the full range of MSIS products and services.\nA degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject.\nCompetent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\nDiversity and Inclusion at LRQA:\nWe are on a mission to be the place where we all want to work and we are passionate about embracing different perspectives because we understand the value this brings to our business, our clients and each other.
