Managing a contract value of approximately $400 Million, the ideal candidate will serve as a key technical expert, ensuring the construction contractor's work aligns with standards, safety regulations, and strict contract specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality Assurance & Inspections\nField Inspections:Independently inspect complex heavy civil construction activities, materials, layout, elevations, and workmanship to ensure absolute compliance with contract plans and specifications.\nUSACE 3-Phase Quality Control:Perform daily quality assurance surveillance to ensure the contractor strictly adheres to the USACE 3-phase quality control system; attend preparatory and initial inspections.\nReporting & Documentation:Utilize the USACE Resident Management System (RMS)to input daily Quality Assurance Reports (QARs) within 24 hours of inspection, highlighting any deficiencies.\nProject Administration & Support\nMeetings & Collaboration:Attend technical reviews, progress meetings, and safety briefings.
