In this critical role, you will act as LRS Federal’s primary agent ensuring that all work performed by the Design-Build contractor complies with the General Services Administration (GSA) guidelines, architectural plans, and strict federal specifications.\nMandatory Qualifications (\"Must-Haves\")\nCandidates who do not meet all of the following criteria will not be considered:\nExperience:Minimum of five (5) years of experience successfully managing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) for federal construction projects similar in size, scope, and complexity (specifically major HVAC overhauls, building envelope/glazing upgrades, and electrical modernizations).\nDesign-Build Expertise:Direct, proven QA experience on Design-Build (DB) contracts valued at over $15 Million.\nFederal Agency Experience:Explicit history of enforcing quality compliance on General Services Administration (GSA)projects, with strong familiarity with GSA PBS Core Building Standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nQA Oversight & Inspection:Formulate, implement, and manage the project-specific Quality Assurance Plan. Conduct regular, rigorous on-site inspections of ongoing work, materials, and equipment.\nTechnical Compliance Monitoring:Verify compliance across three major project vectors: high-performance building envelope repairs (including window/structural glazing), complex HVAC system overhauls (chillers, air handlers, controls), and heavy electrical/building automation updates.\nSubmittal & RFI Review:Audit and evaluate product data, shop drawings, samples, and Requests for Information (RFIs) alongside GSA personnel to ensure alignment with performance specifications.\nDeficiency Tracking:Issue, log, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
